SoFunk is a rock and funk collective made up of musicians from the upstate of South Carolina. The founding members were formed through a connection with Brett Ensley Studios and were soon joined by two new members with personal connections to the band.
Singing lead vocals and playing rhythm guitar is Matthew MacPhail, playing the keys and singing backup is Hannah Bowen, shredding the lead guitar is Kevin Osornio, slapping the bass is Evan Hamlin and last but not least is Skyler Hall keeping the beat and heart of the band thumpin.
SoFunk’s music rides the line between rock and funk. With catchy but personal lyrics, unique subject matter and a passion for making each song funky in its own way, SoFunk’s sound will help you get down and turn any event into a SOcial FUNKtion.
